We pride ourselves in offering an outstanding level of customer service. We believe that we are NUMBER ONE for children’s parties in Derby, so we can give your child the perfect birthday party that will be the talk of the playground for weeks to come!
Our staff will take the strain, looking after your group as they play their games whilst you sit back and relax with a refreshing drink in our lounge area! Then, when they’ve enjoyed playing laser-tag and worn themselves out, we will feed them a scrumptious party meal including fresh stone baked pizza from a healthy eating range, delicious french fries and succulent chicken breast bites, all washed down with ice cold squash or water!
Megazone is suitable for players 6 years upwards to play unaccompanied. All games are supervised by uniformed, trained staff. If you would like to bring a child who is younger, it may be possible, if chaperoned by an accompanying adult. Please ask for more details.

Important Information for Mums and Dads -
What your children will be eating at our parties -
We pride ourselves in the food we serve to your children! All of our produce has been sourced from renowned suppliers and where possible from healthy eating ranges. A typical party can expect –
- Freshly cooked stone baked pizza
- Golden fries
- Our famous(!) chicken breast bites
- A choice of ice-cold squash or water, with no limits on refills. Lasertag is thirsty work!
We understand the need to cater for special dietary , allergen and also cultural requirements. Please enquire when booking and we can talk you through our alternative options.
Will our party be playing lasertag with others at the same time?
Lasertag is best played when there are lasers flying everywhere and there are plenty of enemies to shoot at and be shot by! The kids love teaming up with their friends and stalking out the enemy!
Unless you book an exclusive party, we can not guarantee that your party will be in the arena on their own. However, we understand your concerns and actively manage each and every game to ensure that the right people play against one another. That means no huge age differences between groups, matching age groups where we can and making sure that every game is supervised by multiple game staff.
We want your party to be an absolute success, so we go further than other laser games providers to make sure that we get it right!
If you would like further reassurance, ask a member of staff and they will be happy to help.
Conditions:
- The base price for each party is for up to 10 children/players except where stated. There is no maximum, although we can hold up to 30 players in any one game.
- All bookings MUST arrive 15 minutes before their first game to ensure a prompt start.
- Late arrivals may lose time from their party.
- A non-refundable deposit is required when booking. This is usually 50% of the total party cost.
- Parties must be paid for IN FULL at least 72 hours (3 days) before the start time. No refunds can be given after this point if the number of guests decreases.
- Unless specified your party is not guaranteed exclusive use of the playing arena.
- Birthday packages can not be used in conjunction with any other offer.
- Parents are required to supervise children whilst they eat.
- We can not guarantee the area that your party will eat in.
Advance booking is essential. Please try and book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
